The 2xtreme Intensive is a weeklong trip, led by John Davis M.A., CACII, that helps to solidify the process of recovery while therapeutically establishing a path for personal growth. A group of 8-10 participants are selectively chosen to travel to Denver. Activities include individual and group therapy, outdoor rock climbing, ice climbing, mountaineering, snowboarding, backcountry snowmobiling, and community service.
Intensives
Example of 2xtreme Intensives:
Participants will be met at Denver International Airport and taken to a mountain retreat home located in Summit County.
Each day the young men will participate in an experiential activity including: rock climbing, ice climbing, snowboarding, mountaineering, backcountry snowmobiling and community service.
Individual and group therapy will be provided daily to challenge their introspection and personal growth. Experiential activities are physically and emotionally demanding and the personal therapy is crucial to their processing of the event and how that ties into their personal story – including their failures and successes to date. John Davis, M.A., CACII, provides all the individual therapy and co-facilitates the group therapy process.
Upon Departure, participants will be shuttled to Denver International Airport and checked in.

What the guys say…
The team became a congregation of some of the greatest people I have ever encountered in my 19 years on this earth. Each and every person changed into better people. I can see why these guys were chosen and I am proud to be a part of it. I will never forget my team members.
My situation in life is much better then it was two years ago when I was smoking and selling weed. I am incredibly proud of myself and I have John to thank for all the positive changes in my life. Without John I would either be in jail or worse. I see the world in a whole different perspective after this trip.
